Jordan Greenaway, Managing Director of Transmission Private, has been recognised as a leading reputation manager in this year’s Spear’s 500, the industry-leading league table for the UK’s top advisers to private clients, entrepreneurs, high-net-worth individuals, and their businesses.
Headquartered in London, Transmission Private is a leading private client communications agency that works exclusively with individuals and families. Founded in 2014, the firm provides families with a comprehensive suite of communications services from media monitoring, media relations, digital support, strategic advice, events, philanthropy, and succession.
The agency has carved out a name for itself by designing its products and services to meet the unique communications needs of private clients, putting an emphasis on media management over publicity and building trusted relationships over generating coverage.
The recognition comes off the back of the launch of a new research report from Transmission Private at the end of 2019, which showed that more families are launching their own controlled websites to communicate directly with stakeholders. The recent research publication, The Case for Family Websites, found that the public were more inclined to read about a family on their own website that a third-party source, such as a news article or interview.
The only agency to be recognised in the list for its focus on families, Spear's noted that the agency has doubled in size over the last year and formalised its research function, which polls the public four times a years in how they perceive wealthy families, "in a bid to try to understand the factors that shape and mould public opinion."
Jordan Greenaway, Managing Director of Transmission Private, said: "I am delighted to be recognised for our work in Spear's 500 for the third year running. It is satisfying to see the quality of the PR and communications business we have built but I have always seen complacency as the enemy. That is something I have tried to embed into the company: a dynamic attitude and culture of always learning.
"We continue to recruit top talent – often from outside the communications sector – to strengthen our skillset and extend our private-client knowledge. This ensures we can help families not only communicate today but protect them from the communication risks of tomorrow."
