London-based Transmission Private has been appointed by a Paris-headquartered family foundation to handle its global communications, public relations, stakeholder engagement, and digital profile.
The new instruction follows fast on the heels of Transmission Private’s appointment to lead the public relations for a New York-headquartered family office as the agency further stakes out its claim as the go-to global PR and reputation agency for the world’s most successful individuals and their private organisations, including their core family businesses, investment entities, and charitable trusts.
Transmission Private will be responsible for all aspects of the foundation’s public profile, including its web presence, media relations, events strategy, physical collateral, as well as its overall positioning and brand as it seeks to enhance its reputation and standing as a philanthropic entity globally. In the first instance, Transmission Private will oversee the launch of a new website for the foundation, with a view to launching the new foundation.
Jordan Greenaway, Partner at Transmission Private, said: “This new client win is a strong signal that our strategy is continuing to deliver dividends for the business. We are religiously focussed on building a fully integrated, full-service communications advisory business that is able to service all the needs of private clients and their associated organisations in a single place. We have found that this is a very compelling proposition.
“What unifies our business across all the different services that we provide is a deep, rich understanding of private clients and the unique issues and challenges that they face, as well as the highest levels of service. We are tapping into demand amongst private clients for advice on how to elevate their reputations to strike new deals, win new business, and build new relationships.”
The Paris-based family foundation, which invests in a number of different philanthropic and commercial initiatives, was established by a former senior executive at a leading French financial services giants.
Formed as a blend of a family office and family foundation, the entity’s investment activity is both commercial and charitable, with the Foundation disbursing in excess of €7.5 million annually and investing more than €20 million yearly. The account will be run by Luke Thompson, a Partner and Head of Client Services at Transmission Private.
Luke Thompson, Partner at Transmission Private, said: “The client came to us with a complex and sophisticated brief: to capture and effectively communicate the profit/non-profit status of their foundation. The client recognised the value in being able to access leading expertise across media relations and public relations, branding and website design, online reputation management, as well as strategic positioning advice in a single place.
“Our unique focus on family foundations and family offices also gave us an important edge in securing this instruction. There are very few agencies worldwide that have experience advising clients of this size, nature, and calibre globally. We look forward to delivering extraordinary value for the client over the coming months and years.”
